Syadem’s Vaccination Decision Support System (VADES) is a fundamental tool for the vaccination information system of MesVaccins.net.

History

First designed in 2009, it was recently updated in 2022 to allow its use in multiple languages and its flexibility to adapt to different contexts. With VADES, it is possible to locate the rules applicable to an institution, a region, or a given country, as well as to use it in other fields such as travel medicine or cancer screening.

Recommendations

VADES is based on the official recommendations of the Ministry of Health, as well as on marketing authorization documents. It is continuously updated by experts within a maximum of 48 hours following the publication of new vaccine recommendations. The results produced by VADES are fully verifiable, with each rule associated with one or more test cases. To ensure compliance with recommendations and prevent any regression, each new rule publication requires an automated analysis of all test cases, validated by an expert.
